2025 Fall Planting Party
Fall Planting Party @ Magnuson Park 10am-12:30pm. Can come for part of the event or stay the entire time.
We will have some native trees and plants to install as well as some bark spreading to do. Please see below map for location of the planting. Email us with any questions:
Google map link to location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/j23E8jGmWZXuv8bq8 Enter the park through the NE 65th St. entrance and park in the parking lot below then walk to the area.
Planting in this area will have a cooling effect on the micro-climate, it will help retain water and prevent excess water from flooding to the fields below, provide habitat for wildlife as well as take in and store over 5000 lbs. of Carbon! Not to mention naturally purifying the air and water that get filtered through the trees and plants.

2024 Earth Day Run
About the event
We proudly present Seattle's Earth Day Run April 20th . Come run or walk one of our many race distances and at the same time you can feel good about supporting the environment. Each finisher will receive a native sapling tree + an additional tree will be planted for each finisher we have. So make sure to stop by our tree hugger station where you can pot a tree for the parks and take one home. We also will have a Magnuson Park gardener there to answer all questions you may have about native plants and trees. Over the years at our Earth Day events we have handed out thousands of trees that grow and sequester more and more carbon each year. On top of all that we will also be recycling old running shoes so don't forget to bring them so we can donate them to Africa via the More Foundation Group. Tell your friends and come out for this great event!
